Celtic Cross on Ribble Valley Radio We`re back on RVR online on Sundat 4th March from 2-3pm with Gary Townsend. Tune in if you can (mine don`t work) On Tuesday 29th November Celtic Cross appeared on the Mark Cassidy show on the newly launched Ribble Valley community radio. We chatted with he host and played unplugged into the open mike. We had originally intended to play 2 songs, we ended up playing 6, those being The leaving of Liverpool, These Situations, Cooleys, Sunny, Wild Rover and Swallow the Anchor. Everything went really well and it was a pretty cool and laid back atmosphere, never feeling like we were being rushed off for the next item. Quite the contrary actually. All being well we are set to return on Tuesday 20th December between 8 + 10 pm to do something similar. The Frequency is 87.7 FM but it has a limited range so unless you have a better radio than me you should maybe drive into the Ribble valley and park up for the duration of the show. If you live in the Ribble Valley you should try and listen to this station as much as you can before xmas as they have only 28 days of trial transmission and these folks are putting in a lot of effort for something different and getting v. little reward. We went back in again on 12th December and did a load more. If you want to know more about Ribble Valley Radio you can visit their website at www.ribblevalleyradio.org.uk |
